What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Blue Terra Management LLC?
We are a small, energetic, and fast-paced Real Estate Management and Development firm. We are looking for a bookkeeper to perform a variety of bookkeeping, accounts payable, and administrative tasks and support our company’s senior-level managers. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act with minimal guidance. Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing personalized and timely support to executive members.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting duties (i.e., bookkeeping; entering accounts payable; entering accounts receivable; receiving, recording in accounting software, and filing bills and other documents; reconciling bank accounts monthly with accounting software; record keeping and file management for multiple entities; working with vendors to resolve issues that arise; etc.)
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
- Organize and maintain filing system
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records
- Manage and run payroll on Gusto
- HR experience and the ability to research
Skills
- Work experience as a Staff Accountant, Bookkeeper, or similar role
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or other accounting software preferred
- Excellent MS Office knowledge
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with office gadgets and applications (e.g., e-calendars and copy machines)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Discretion and confidentiality
- Accounting/Bookkeeping degree or certification is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
