Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commercial Pool Technician role based in West Palm Beach, FL. The Commercial Pool Technician is responsible for performing routine and scheduled pool maintenance, including testing and balancing water chemistry, cleaning pool surfaces and filters, and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Daily tasks include inspecting pumps, heaters, chlorinators, and other systems, diagnosing basic mechanical issues, and coordinating repairs or reporting complex problems to supervisors. The role also involves documenting service activities, communicating clearly with clients and team members, and following company safety procedures and local health codes. Technicians may assist with minor renovations, equipment upgrades, and support emergency service calls as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in water chemistry testing, balancing chemicals, and maintaining water clarity and sanitation in commercial pool environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in equipment inspection, routine mechanical troubleshooting, and basic repair of pumps, filters, heaters, and related pool systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in pool cleaning, including brushing, vacuuming, skimming, filter backwashing, and maintaining surrounding deck areas.
- Candidates should possess skills in safety awareness, adherence to health codes, and proper handling and storage of pool chemicals and tools.
- Candidates should possess skills in customer service, clear communication, and professional interaction with property managers, clients, and team members.
- Prior experience as a pool technician or in a similar maintenance role in commercial or residential settings is preferred.
