Duties
- Perform routine pool cleaning including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining water clarity.
- Inspect and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain and troubleshoot pool plumbing systems to ensure optimal water flow and filtration.
- Handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to balance pH levels and ensure water quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular maintenance on pool systems, including replacing parts and performing preventive repairs.
- Document all maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and repairs meticulously for record-keeping.
- Respond promptly to service requests or issues reported by clients or team members to resolve problems efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance with hands-on knowledge of equipment repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems and equipment operation.
- Ability to handle water treatment chemicals safely and follow proper chemical agent handling procedures.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques, water chemistry, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly.
