Job Title: HR Technology Analyst (Salesforce Configuration)Location: Remote – Must be based in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, or IllinoisPeriod: 6-month contract with strong possibility of extension or direct hireHours/Week: 40 hoursRate: $45–$50/hourContract Type: W-2 only (Must be a U.S. citizen – No visa sponsorships)Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced HR Technology Analyst with a strong background in Salesforce configuration, particularly supporting HR-related workflows such as workforce data management, payroll integrations, time and attendance processes, and employee lifecycle tracking. This role will play a key part in enhancing and maintaining Salesforce-based HR solutions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in HR service delivery.This is a hands-on functional and technical role best suited for someone who can balance day-to-day system support with forward-looking process improvements and automation.Key ResponsibilitiesSalesforce Configuration & Support:Own the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of Salesforce for HR-related use cases, including employee data management, payroll and time & attendance integrations, and reporting workflows.System Administration:Administer Salesforce environments supporting HR operations and integrate with adjacent systems such as SAP SuccessFactors (performance management) and Infor WFM Workbrain (time and attendance), ensuring seamless data flow and system reliability.Process Automation & Integration:Collaborate with IT and HR teams to streamline HR business processes using Salesforce tools, automation, and integrations across related platforms.Data Analysis & Reporting:Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide accurate insights related to headcount, compensation, time entry, payroll feeds, and workforce metrics.User Support & Training:Provide tier 2 and tier 3 system support to HR users and business partners. Develop and deliver training on Salesforce features, enhancements, and HR-related workflows.Documentation:Create and maintain documentation for Salesforce configurations, integrations, workflows, and end-user procedures to support consistency, auditability, and knowledge transfer.Compliance & Security:Manage Salesforce security roles, permissions, and access controls. Ensure HR data handling complies with federal and state regulations, internal controls, and data privacy standards.Required Experience & Qualifications1–3 years of experience in HRIS or HR Technology roles with hands-on Salesforce configuration experienceExperience configuring Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, automation (Flows), security roles, and reportingExperience supporting payroll, time & attendance, or HR data integrations within Salesforce or adjacent systemsFamiliarity with SAP SuccessFactors and Infor WFM Workbrain is a plusAbility to independently troubleshoot data, configuration, or integration issues and implement scalable solutionsExposure to system upgrades, enhancements, implementations, or cross-platform data integrationsPreferred Skills & CompetenciesStrong proficiency in Excel and Salesforce reporting and dashboard toolsAnalytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from workforce and HR datasetsAbility to translate HR business needs into Salesforce system requirements and configurationsClear, professional communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersHighly organized, detail-oriented, and responsive in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentExperience supporting HR systems in regulated or multi-state environments is a plus
