WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Starlink Installation Technician, you’ll work directly with customers to professionally install and optimize their internet and connected-home technology.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Professionally install Starlink internet systems at residential and commercial locations.
- Determine the best Starlink equipment location for strong performance and a clear view of the sky.
- Safely mount and secure Starlink equipment on homes and other structures.
- Route, install, and conceal cabling for clean, professional installations.
- Set up routers, Wi-Fi networks, and connected devices.
- Test internet connectivity and optimize system performance.
- Help customers understand their new Starlink service and Wi-Fi network.
- Install and support additional internet, video, and smart home technology.
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services that improve the customer's connected-home experience.
- Maintain accurate installation, equipment, and service documentation.
- Follow Blue Sky safety standards and installation procedures.
- Deliver outstanding customer service on every appointment.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You do not need previous Starlink, satellite, cable, or telecommunications experience. We provide paid training.
We’re looking for people who are:
- Dependable, motivated, and ready to work.
- Comfortable learning new technology.
- Friendly, professional, and confident working directly with customers.
- Motivated by performance-based earning opportunities.
- Able to problem-solve and work independently in the field.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions.
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working on rooftops, in attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces.
- Able to lift 20–40 lbs. regularly, 60–90 lbs. frequently, and 100 lbs. occasionally with assistance.
- Candidates must also have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record and be able to successfully complete required background screening and drug testing.
EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS — BUT NOT REQUIRED
