The Superintendent, Mission Critical Projects will lead day-to-day field operations on complex electrical construction projects supporting high-uptime environments, including data center and other critical infrastructure builds. This individual will be responsible for field coordination, workforce leadership, schedule execution, safety performance, quality oversight, and jobsite communication across active project phases.

Core Responsibilities
- Lead daily field execution for hyperscale and other high-availability construction projects, keeping crews aligned with milestones, safety expectations, and quality benchmarks
- Coordinate subcontractors, internal field teams, inspections, and material flow to maintain productivity across fast-moving project phases
- Translate drawings, specifications, and look-ahead plans into actionable work plans that keep site activities organized and on schedule
- Champion a safety-first culture by reinforcing site expectations, leading field walks, and addressing risks before they impact people or progress
- Partner with project leadership to resolve field issues quickly, document daily activity, and keep stakeholders informed on production, constraints, and next steps
- Oversee jobsite logistics, workforce coordination, and trade sequencing to support efficient installation and minimize disruption
- Support turnover, punch activity, and closeout execution so finished spaces are delivered cleanly and ready for client use
- Build strong working relationships with electricians, trade partners, and project teams while helping mentor emerging field leaders on large-scale jobs
Desired Background
- At least 8 years of field leadership experience in electrical construction, with deeper experience strongly valued for larger-scale assignments
- Track record supporting mission critical, data center, or similarly schedule-sensitive commercial projects
- Ability to lead sizeable field teams and coordinate multiple scopes in active construction environments
- Working knowledge of construction sequencing, schedule management, and field productivity expectations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related project documentation
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills with a practical, field-oriented leadership style
- Experience in union labor environments is helpful, though high-caliber candidates from adjacent backgrounds will also be considered
- Familiarity with Northern Virginia project work and regional travel expectations is preferred
