Key Responsibilities

Mobile Development (iOS Focused)

• Design and build high-performance iOS applications leveraging Apple HealthKit and other wearable integrations.
• Implement features using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, async/await, and optimize using Xcode Instruments.
• Develop integrations with Apple Watch, StoreKit 2 for subscriptions and in-app purchases, and backend APIs.
• Drive scalable architecture with secure handling of medical and biometric data for mass-market usage.

Web Platform Engineering

• Develop high-speed, modern UIs using React, Next.js, and TypeScript for chatbot interactions and real-time visualizations.
• Use advanced data visualization tools (e.g., D3.js, Plotly.js, Chart.js) to present complex health data.
• Optimize performance across platforms with smart caching, SSR/ISR strategies, and best practices in web rendering.
• Manage full deployment lifecycle via Vercel, Cloudflare, or equivalent CI/CD systems.

AI-Enhanced Engineering Workflows

• Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot, OpenAI agents, or similar to increase development velocity.
• Implement automated testing, code generation, and prototyping using LLMs and multi-agent workflows.
• Explore generative UI patterns and LLM-integrated feature delivery across platforms.

Desired Experience

• 5 years of experience in software engineering, ideally across both iOS (Swift) and web (React/Next.js) stacks.
• Must have proven, hands-on experience developing with Apple HealthKit, including real-world integrations involving vitals, fitness, or wearable data.
• Strong portfolio of mobile and web applications, especially those involving health, fitness, or wearable integrations.
• Experience scaling consumer-facing platforms (100k users), particularly those involving real-time data.
• Deep familiarity with Apple HealthKit, secure data handling, and subscription-based app monetization.
• Passion for AI-driven engineering and optimizing developer productivity through automation and tooling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with 3D visualization using WebGL, Three.js, or similar.
• Exposure to AI/LLM integrations (OpenAI, Claude, etc.), prompt engineering, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Backend experience (e.g., FastAPI, Redis, PostgreSQL) and deployment with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Understanding of health data privacy standards and compliance.
