Position Summary
The Hotel Security Officer is responsible for conducting on-site security operations at assigned hotel properties. This role focuses on maintaining a safe environment for guests and employees through vigilant patrolling, strict adherence to the Hotel Security Patrol Policy, and professional interaction with hotel management. The officer serves as the front-line deterrent against unauthorized access and safety hazards.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Patrols and Vigilance
- Complete a minimum of one full interior and exterior patrol every 60 minutes to ensure total property coverage.
- Maintain increased patrol frequency (every 30 to 45 minutes) for high-risk areas including parking garages, cash handling areas, and restricted access points.
- Inspect the lobby, guest corridors, facilities (pool and fitness center), and back-of-house areas for safety compliance.
- Monitor exterior grounds and perimeters to prevent loitering, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate and detailed Daily Activity Reports (DAR) for every shift.
- Generate comprehensive Incident Reports (IR) for any disturbances, medical emergencies, or security breaches for supervisor approval.
- Verify that all entry doors and security gates are functioning correctly according to time-of-day protocols.
Incident Management and Communication
- Respond immediately to disturbances, fire alarm activations, or medical emergencies.
- Coordinate with the dispatch center and local law enforcement for physical threats or formal trespass warnings.
- Report all serious incidents immediately to the Hotel Security Supervisor or the Chief of Operations.
- Maintain a professional image by adhering to uniform standards and carrying required equipment, including radios and flashlights.

These is a part time position, working Monday and Tuesday 11p-7Am must be willing to fill in other times if needed same times at same location
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
