SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday; 8:30 am -3:00 pm

Support the daily operations of a childcare center by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food service, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for children and staff. This role combines kitchen aide responsibilities with janitorial duties and occasional classroom support.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Perform routine cleaning throughout the center, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, and trash removal
- Clean and sanitize classroom tables before and after meals and snacks
- Assist with serving meals and snacks to children
- Support meal and snack preparation as directed
- Unload and organize food deliveries and supplies
- Assist in classrooms as needed to maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios
- Follow cleaning schedules and directions provided by supervisors
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized environment at all times
- Work collaboratively with staff and provide courteous interactions with children, families, and coworkers
- Ability to follow directions and established routines
- Strong attention to detail, especially with cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly and professional communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of kitchen and sanitation practices preferred
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment, including mop buckets
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the facility
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and kitchen tasks
- CPR, First Aid, and Preventing Disease Transmission certification
- Pre-employment drug screening and physical
- Participation in required trainings
