Blue Ridge Technology is seeking a skilled and motivated Level II IT Technician to join our growing Managed Services team. This role is responsible for handling escalated support requests, performing advanced troubleshooting, and supporting a wide range of client environments. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically strong, and comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-client environments.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for desktops, servers, networks, and cloud platforms
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
- Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management
- Networking (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, switching)
- Support and maintain RMM and security tools (e.g., NinjaOne, Huntress, AV/EDR solutions)
- Perform system maintenance, patching, and monitoring remediation
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes and client environment documentation
- Participate in project work such as migrations, deployments, and upgrades
- Maintain accurate documentation in PSA/ticketing systems
- Communicate clearly with clients, providing updates and managing expectations
- Identify recurring issues and recommend proactive solutions
- 3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in an MSP environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
- Experience with:
- Windows OS (desktop and server)
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Active Directory and Azure AD
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls)
- Experience using RMM and PSA tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize effectively
- Experience in an MSP or multi-client environment
- Familiarity with tools such as NinjaOne, HaloPSA, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of backup solutions (e.g., Cove or similar)
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
- Certifications such as:
- CompTIA A , Network , or Security
- Microsoft (MS-900, AZ-900, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and professionalism
- Adaptability in a fast-changing technical environment
Salary : $49,000 - $59,000
