With offices in Boone, Linville, and Jefferson, we offer appointments for routine, chronic, and emergent sick visits, check-ups, and consultations for a variety of medical and behavioral issues. As the only private practice pediatric clinic in a wide area, we have been caring for the children of the High Country since 1992.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pediatric Office Practice Manager located in Boone, North Carolina. The Pediatric Office Practice Manager will be responsible for the general management of all aspects of the office including direct supervision of all business, clerical and clinical staff. The manager will also participate in planning and decision making along with the physician partners and implement partner policies and protocols. The manager will also manage our medical office building that includes the pediatric practice as well as other tenants.

Knowledge and Skills

Must be mature, well organized, possess good interpersonal skills and communication abilities, and be able to work effectively with all personnel. Must handle stress well and remain polite at all times. Requires skills in:

• selecting and training business and clerical staff
• organizing and evaluating work assignments
• financial analysis and reporting
• communication with patients and physicians
• operation and maintenance of the computer system
• capability to fill in at any administrative job in the practice

Qualifications

• ideally a minimum of five years managing a medical facility, preferably a physician's office
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Healthcare Management is preferred
