Front Desk Receptionist – Pediatric Office (8:00 AM–5:00 PM, No Nights or Weekends)
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our pediatric office team. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and families, providing a warm, professional experience while ensuring smooth daily office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients and families with a welcoming, compassionate approach
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information
- Coordinate with clinical staff to support efficient office workflow
- Handle general administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and faxing
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment
- Prior medical office or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records is a plus
