Seasonal Maintenance Worker Leader

These positions are located in Blue Ridge Parkway in the Maintenance & Engineering Division.

This Job Announcement is for a temporary position not-to-exceed 1559 regular hours with a FULLTIME work schedule.

Responsibilities:

The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period for these parks is April - November, but the season may be extended or reduced due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: June 2026

Major Duties Statement
This seasonal position is a XB-4749-07 Maintenance Work Leader located at the Vinton Sub-District for the Blue Ridge Parkway. This position is a working leader assigned responsibility for grounds, building and utility maintenance work.

Roanoke Co, Virginia - The duty station is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway at the Vinton Maintenance Area, which is located in Roanoke Co, Virginia. Roanoke is a thriving urban area with more rural areas readily accessible.
