The main responsibility of this position is assisting students, faculty, staff and the community by accepting and recording all payments made to the college and answering student account questions either in person, at the payment window, or by phone or email.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Assist all customers at the payment window with making payments.Assist all customers at the payment window and by phone with account questions;Receipt funds to the proper account;Confirm account balances.Prepare bank deposits and take them to the bank as needed.Assist with miscellaneous duties as assigned, such as preparing mailings, scanning documents, etc., to assist the Finance Office team;Ensure compliance and confidentiality with all policies and procedures of the College, NC Community College System, and applicable State and Federal agencies.Maintain the technical competencies necessary to the job function;Other duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Physical Demands: The ability to perform all duties associated with the position including, but not limited to lifting, prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and operating or performing work with associated tools and machines.
