Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and energetic Dishwasher to join our vibrant production team. In this role, you are essential to maintaining a clean kitchen environment and ensuring smooth operations during busy service times. Primary Responsibilities
- Sanitation: Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and industrial kitchen equipment according to strict health codes.
- Facility Care: Maintain a tidy kitchen by cleaning floors, counters, and surfaces; assist with trash removal and recycling.
- Catering Support: Support catering and banquet setups by organizing dishware and cleaning "caves" (transport containers) returning from off-site events.
- Kitchen Assistance: Support food prep tasks, such as organizing ingredients and maintaining clean workstations for the chef team.
- Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment for the entire team.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 60 lbs and handle the physical demands of a high-volume catering environment, including standing for long periods.
- Communication: Fluency in English is required for effective coordination with our kitchen and operations teams.
- Reliability: A positive attitude and a "team-first" approach, especially during high-pressure service windows.
- Availability: Flexible schedule with mandatory weekend availability.
- Requirements: Must be able to pass a background check. Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment is a plus but not required.
- Driver License: Required for the role.
