About the Role:

The Janitor Crew - Part-Time position is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our facilities. This role focuses on performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure all areas meet high standards of hygiene and appearance. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall operational efficiency by promptly addressing cleaning needs and reporting any maintenance issues. Working part-time, the janitor will support the team by managing time effectively to cover assigned areas thoroughly. Ultimately, this role plays a critical part in creating a positive experience for employees, visitors, and clients through diligent upkeep of the premises.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas.
• Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other high-touch surfaces to prevent the spread of germs and maintain hygiene.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and other facilities as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to company guidelines and OSHA standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work.
• Familiarity with safety standards and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• Certification in workplace safety or cleaning protocols is a plus.
