Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Clinical Manager to oversee clinical operations within our dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive healthcare management experience, a strong background in clinical operations and direct patient care experience, and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to patient care coordination, staff supervision, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day clinic operations, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and workflow optimization
- Supervise and support clinical and administrative staff
- Ensure compliance with healthcare and company regulations, policies, and standards
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations and protocols to safeguard patient confidentiality and safety.
- Monitor quality assurance metrics related to patient care outcomes and implement process improvements accordingly.
- Address patient concerns and maintain a high standard of care and service
Experience
- Proven management experience within a healthcare setting, preferably in dermatology or specialty clinics.
- Extensive knowledge of EMR/EHR systems
- Strong background in medical office operations, including ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and utilization review processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supervising nursing staff or medical assistants in busy clinical settings.
- Familiarity with dermatological procedures such as biopsy, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and catheterization techniques.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards along with infection control and sterile processing protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of patient care and team performance.
