We’re Hiring: Accounts Receivable Specialist (Trucking Industry Experience Required)
Looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable professional who understands the fast-paced nature of the transportation industry.
This role is critical to maintaining healthy cash flow and strong client relationships, so we’re specifically seeking someone with prior experience in trucking, logistics, or freight billing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections
• Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on past-due accounts
• Communicate with brokers, shippers, and clients to resolve billing discrepancies
• Work with factoring companies and understand factoring processes (if applicable)
• Ensure rate confirmations, PODs (Proof of Delivery), and billing documentation are accurate and complete
• Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate billing
What We’re Looking For:
• Prior AR experience in trucking, logistics, or transportation (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with TMS systems and freight billing platforms
• Experience working with brokers and understanding industry payment terms (Quick Pay, Net 30/45, etc.)
• Strong collections skills with a professional and persistent approach
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts
• Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
Bonus Points:
• Experience with factoring companies
• Knowledge of DAT, Truckstop, or similar platforms
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
