This is an 8 week program starting on June 15th. There will be a week of training the week before program starts. Hours will vary based on activities but typically will work Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm.
Incoming High School Seniors, College students and/or graduates are encouraged to apply!
Duties
- Supervise children during outdoor play, organized activities, and free time to ensure safety and positive behavior management
- Lead engaging games, sports, arts and crafts, and other activities that promote childhood development and creativity
- Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any injuries or emergencies following safety protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, babysitting, or childcare is a plus
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to creating a safe, inclusive environment
- Ability to engage children through energetic teaching methods and positive reinforcement
- Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to successfully obtain Criminal History, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Fingerprinting
- Any other trainings as assigned

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
