The base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000.

Job Summary
The Staff Accountant will participate in various financial accounting functions, including various transactions and reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing activities, audit support, and the preparation of financials statements.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
- Auditing accounts, reports, and external reports
- Provide support in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoice processing, contract setups, vendor management, billing, and collections to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in maintaining project cost tracking and supporting documentation construction projects.
- Support Project Manager with administrative tasks as needed, such as maintaining project files, tracking change orders, and coordinating with vendors or subcontractors to help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of GAAP and willingness to research and reconcile difficult accounts.
- Intermediate level knowledge of all accounting functions and related internal controls, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and inventory.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Experience working with internal and external audits
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Sage 300 or ERP System experience
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- Flexible and enthusiastic, proactive, and independent
- Self-motivated, quality conscious, teamwork oriented and able to multi-task.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work is performed indoors in an office setting. Lighting is artificial. Equipment used includes standard office equipment i.e. computer, telephone and copy machine. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, repetitive use of either or both hands. Hours and days are primarily Monday through Friday; however, weekends and evenings will be required as business needs dictate
