JOB SUMMARY
As the Document Coordinator / Drafter, you will play a crucial role in the organization, maintenance, and creation of various documents essential to the division’s operation. Your primary responsibilities will be to create and revise fabrication and installation documents & drawings for warehouse and field staff use.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support warehouse and field staff with accurate documentation creation and revisions.
- Ability to work with Energy Pro-CBECC software 2022 Energy code or newer
- Establish and maintain a centralized document control system to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and distribution of documents.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts, to gather information and create technical documents.
- Coordinate requested changes with field personnel.
- Maintain quality control at all times.
- Additional duties or projects as assigned by Director of Engineering
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must possess AutoCAD certification.
- Ability to independently complete Title-24 reports and energy models
- CEA or CEPE is preferred
- Experience in residential, multi-family, and commercial projects is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English in both verbal and written formats.
- Must possess strong analytic skills and attention to detail.
- Must be capable of working efficiently both independently and in a team environment.
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in order to interface with other company employees in a courteous and professional manner.
- Must possess a willingness to learn about the construction and design processes.
- Knowledge of construction processes and assemblies for low-rise residential buildings is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints preferred.
- Must be PC computer literate. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) experience required.
- Must possess mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the physical ability required.
- Work is performed primarily indoors.
- Lighting is artificial.
- Equipment used includes standard office equipment i.e. computer, telephone, adding machine, printer and copier.
- Physical demands include sitting, repetitive use of hands.
- Hours and days are primarily Monday through Friday.
- Position requires contact with other employees, consumers, customers and possibly outside vendors.

The base pay range for this position is: $23.50-27.50
