Day Porter Janitor

Blue Moon is a North Hollywood-based professional cleaning company focussing in janitorial, building maintenance, and site or facility services. We serve the Greater Los Angeles Metro Area for a wide array of clients including Fortune 500 companies, commercial and industrial entities, government agencies, offices, retailers, and more.

Blue Moon is seeking an upbeat, trustworthy, client-focused, and detail-oriented Day Porter/Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic and growing team.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Starting Pay: $18.00 to $18.50/Hourly
• General cleaning tasks at a client's location in Glendale, CA
• Duties include: trash sweep, leaf blowing, and pickup of exterior areas of a very large commercial property, wiping down kitchens and appliances, cleaning and restocking restrooms, emptying heavy trash cans, cleaning stairwells, high dusting, sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, light cleaning duties and other requests from client as needed.

Here Are Some Additional Details About the Position:

• Own car preferred/reliable transportation required.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance of Blue Moon’s North Hollywood location for training and pickup of supplies as needed.
• Please note that while Blue Moon does not have a COVID-19 vaccination requirement, many of our clients and/or locations we service do require proof of vaccination and/or COVID-19 testing requirements.
• This estimated shift is Monday-Friday, 11am to 7pm in one location in Glendale.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stand, walk, carry items, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, move quickly and efficiently.
• This position is client-facing and attention to detail and discretion is imperative. You will be cleaning while other people are in the building working.
• You will need to clean the same areas in a building multiple times in per shift.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

Performing cleaning and disinfection services, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, trash pickup, kitchen/breakroom and bathroom cleaning. Other duties may include exterior pressure washing, floor maintenance including buffing and polishing, window cleaning, COVID-19 preventative disinfection, and other related tasks.
