Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and trustworthy Handyman to perform full-day home visits addressing warranty and punch-list items for newly completed homes. This role requires a well-rounded tradesperson capable of diagnosing and resolving a variety of minor to moderate issues in a single visit.
The goal is simple: walk in with a list, and leave with everything resolved.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full walkthroughs of occupied homes with homeowners
- Identify and complete all outstanding warranty and service items
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard before leaving the property
- Maintain a professional and respectful presence in homeowners’ residences
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in:
- Sheetrock/drywall repair
- Painting (touch-ups and blending)
- Basic plumbing
- Basic electrical work
- Trim carpentry
- Fixture and appliance installation
- Water well and pump troubleshooting/service
- Strong problem-solving ability across multiple trades
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Requirements:
- Must be fully insured
- Must have reliable transportation and tools
- Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Must be trustworthy and professional in occupied homes
Compensation:
- $500 per home visit
- Each visit is expected to be a full day
