Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for collaborating with our culinary team to help execute a high volume seasonal time for our restaurant. We are seeking someone who can prepare high-quality dishes with precision, someone who has strong communication skills, and can ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be helping execute regular services as well as holiday parties.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Manage specific sections of the kitchen while maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Assist in executing various private events including on-site holiday parties
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures and hygiene standards
- Monitor food handling practices to ensure compliance with food safety management protocols and prevent cross-contamination
- Support high-volume production during busy service times while maintaining attention to detail and presentation quality
- Collaborate with our culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during their off days
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation within restaurant or catering environments, especially in fine dining settings
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment safely
- Experience with food safety standards, sanitizing procedures, and food handling regulations
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining flexibility for special requests or dietary needs
- Familiarity with high-volume production processes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
