Job Summary

In this energetic role, you will craft delicious coffee beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming environment for all guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every visitor leaves satisfied and eager to return.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service
• Operate Toast POS System.
• Handle cashing out customers, managing cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café
• Assist in food handling, serving food items, and supporting food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within cafés or restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail transactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and proper food preparation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Previous retail sales experience is a plus, along with serving or cashiering expertise

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
