Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and their pets in a warm and professional manner
- Schedule and manage grooming appointments accurately
- Answer incoming calls with proper phone etiquette
- Check pets in and out, confirming services and special requests
- Process payments and retail sales using the POS system
- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure receipts are sent correctly
- Communicate clearly with groomers regarding scheduling and client notes
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Handle customer concerns calmly and professionally
- Keep the reception area clean and organized
- Minimum of 1 year of receptionist experience required.
- Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred
- Experience working with POS systems required
- Comfortable and proficient with technology
- Understands appointment scheduling and grooming service needs
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Ability to work with a wide range of customer personalities
- Comfortable working around dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and solution-focused
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Full-time availability required
- Must be available to work weekends
