Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Roofing Estimator with proven EDGE Estimating software experience to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for residential and/or commercial roofing projects. This position is available in Berthoud, Colorado, or remote for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed roofing estimates using EDGE Estimating software
- Review project plans, specifications, and scopes of work
- Perform site measurements and inspections as required
- Develop accurate material, labor, and subcontractor cost estimates
- Analyze vendor and supplier pricing
- Identify project risks and value-engineering opportunities
- Support bid preparation and proposal submissions
- Collaborate with sales and project management teams
- Maintain organized and accurate estimating records
- Ensure compliance with company standards and applicable building codes
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience using EDGE Estimating software (required)
- Proven experience as a Roofing Estimator or Construction Estimator
- Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial roofing systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and measurements
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, especially in a remote setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with insurance-related roofing estimates
- Construction Management degree or relevant certification
- Military and Federal Building Experience
