Inside Sales Representative/Account Manager

We are looking for a customer-focused, relationship-driven Customer Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing existing customer accounts, coordinating repeat orders, visiting customer locations on a regular basis, and identifying opportunities to grow business within your assigned accounts.

Rather than making cold calls, your focus will be on building strong relationships, delivering exceptional service, and becoming a trusted resource for your customers. You'll help customers stay organized, anticipate their needs, and ensure their projects are completed successfully from start to finish.

Your accounts will grow natively through your interactions in the community at events or through incoming inquiries and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers through regular communication and scheduled site visits.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customers receive outstanding service and support.
• Review customer ordering patterns and proactively recommend products, services, and solutions that support their needs.
• Process repeat orders, generate quotes, follow up on opportunities, and ensure projects move smoothly through production.
• Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts and develop new customer relationships through referrals and networking.
• Maintain regular in-person customer visits to strengthen relationships and better understand customer needs.
• Coordinate with production, art, purchasing, and other team members to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
• Utilize company tools and systems (we'll train you) to maintain accurate customer records, order history, notes, and sales activities.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns quickly while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Contribute to the success of the entire team by helping create long-term, loyal customer partnerships.
• We are a small business that works together to complete customer projects. Occasionally, you may be asked to assist with light production tasks such as heat pressing apparel or helping prepare orders for delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in account management, outside sales, customer service, commercial printing, promotional products, apparel decoration, or a related industry.
• Experience managing customer relationships and recurring business accounts.
• Familiarity with CRM systems or customer management software is a plus, but not required.
