Role Overview:
The Residential Plumbing Manager will lead the company’s residential plumbing division in Dayton, overseeing a team of 20 field and support professionals. This role carries full P&L ownership for the plumbing department and requires a strong blend of operational leadership, team development, and customer-focused service delivery. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic leader who can elevate performance, streamline processes, and support continued growth in the Dayton market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations of the residential plumbing department.
- Oversee budgets, P&L performance, staffing levels, and key operational metrics.
- Implement growth strategies to improve revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate plumbing technicians and field staff.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and service excellence.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve workflow, communication, and customer experience.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, upselling, and customer retention.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of progressive experience in residential plumbing, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience managing teams and full P&L responsibility for a division or branch.
- Strong background in plumbing service operations, installations, and customer service.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
