Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and organized Front Office Coordinator for our growing home care agency, Blue Dolphin Home Health Care Services. This role will support daily operations, DMAS coordination, insurance billing, EVV management, scheduling support, and Medicaid follow up for home care patients.
Responsibilities
- Verify Medicaid and insurance eligibility through DMAS/PRSS
- Work with insurance companies including Anthem, Aetna, Sentara, UnitedHealthcare, and other MCOs
- Manage patient authorizations and approved service hours
- Handle billing, claim submissions, invoice tracking, and payment follow up with insurance companies
- Follow up on denied, pending, or rejected claims
- Coordinate EVV systems including MYEVV and Tellus
- Maintain patient records and compliance documentation
- Communicate with families, aides, nurses, case managers, and insurance representatives
- Assist with scheduling and caregiver coordination
- Track timesheets, missed visits, and documentation requirements
- Support DMAS 225 transfers and Medicaid-related paperworkssistant duties or medical/dental receptionist responsibilities when required.
Requirements
- Experience in home care, healthcare administration, medical billing, or front office support preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid, DMAS, EVV, and insurance billing preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable using online portals, spreadsheets, and email
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- Bilingual is a plus -
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
