Serve as technical resource and financial system subject matter expert (SME) to Finance department staff and management. Support staff with issue resolution, development of technical solutions, and support with process enhancements. Work with management of operational areas to assist in accumulating data. Advise management on efficient methods to analyze and report data for optimal results.

What You’ll Do
- Triage, investigate, and resolve system-related issues across financial platforms
- Serve as a liaison between Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure timely issue resolution
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for optimization
- Design, develop, and maintain financial reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for finance and business leaders
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms
- Analyze current workflows and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Implement automation and integration solutions where applicable
- Document processes and maintain system configuration records
- Gather and validate business requirements from cross-functional teams
- Coordinate system upgrades, testing, and deployments with stakeholders
- Provide training and support to end users on financial systems and tools
- Participate in department initiatives and projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education or related work experience
- Three to five years of experience in financial systems analysis or related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data sets
- Understanding of SAS programming, spreadsheet, database software and other application development tools
- Good business acumen and political savvy
- Knowledge of business process improvement techniques and strategies

- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to interface with employees at all levels
- Ability to effectively navigate ambiguous situations with limited direction
- Familiarity with financial close, budgeting, procurement, and reporting processes

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in relevant platforms (e.g., Workday Financials, Microsoft Power BI) is a plus
- Experience in the health insurance industry
- Experience with system implementation or upgrades
Role

- In-office: onsite 5 days per week
- Hybrid: onsite 2-4 days per week
- Remote: onsite 0-1 days per week. Permitted to reside in the following states, pending approval from the Human Resources Department: Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia
