ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Describe nature and scope of position, maximum of 8): · Lead a hybrid team of business analysts and systems analysts, including both internal and outsourced vendors · Provide mentorship, performance evaluations, career development guidance, and resource allocation to ensure team productivity and morale. Foster a collaborative environment that integrates onshore and offshore resources effectively. · Lead and develop Business and Systems Analysis function, ensuring alignment with industry standards (BABOK, IIBA) and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, SOC1/SOC2). · Direct the analysis of business processes, requirements gathering, and documentation to identify opportunities for improvement. · Oversee systems analysis to design, evaluate, and implement technical solutions that align with business objectives, including software applications and data integrations. · Oversee requirements elicitation, business process modeling, and technical solution design for enterprise initiatives. · Manage requirements development as it relates to end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery of system delivery. · Partner with the EPMO to develop and implement strategies for business and systems analysis functions, including tools, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and best practices. · Drive transformation using selected AI tools. Drive change management, user adoption, and training for new systems and processes · Partner with cross-functional teams to elicit, validate, and prioritize requirements. Facilitate communication between business leaders and technical teams to ensure solutions meet user needs and deliver business outcomes. · Manage the vendor relationship for outsourced analysis work, ensuring adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and contractual obligations. · Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor team performance, project status, and business outcomes. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on data analysis. Location: BCBSRI is headquartered in downtown Providence, conveniently located near the train station and bus terminal.
