Job Summary The Treasury Control Specialist is responsible for sorting and batching incoming documents, processing checks and coupons through the NCR machine, manually posting payments into CARMS, and scanning/indexing non-sufficient fund (NSF) checks and group reconciliation forms into Content Manager to route to appropriate areas. These processes must be completed within the established timeliness and accuracy benchmarks. Job-Specific Requirements Must have Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business, Accounting, or Finance; or have a minimum of 2 years work experience in a related function. Must demonstrate a logical thought process to analyze problems and implement solutions. Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain accurate tracking logs. Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure work products are of high quality. Must have very good interpersonal skills in order to work in a team environment. Must have good verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective, positive communication between his/her Manager and other employees in the unit and department. Must have excellent organizational skills to successfully prioritize tasks and perform to ensure individual benchmarks are consistently met. Must be able to be flexible with work schedule. Must be customer focused and service oriented to ensure timely and accurate performance and benchmark achievement. Must have the ability to work independently and complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner. Prefer experience with mainframe and CARMS system.
