LOCATION: For employees in Vermont, Blue Cross has transitioned to a hybrid workplace where employees within a 50-mile radius of our Berlin, VT office work Wednesdays in the office with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week. This role can also be filled by a fully remote candidate.

Senior Project Manager Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of project results for Blue Cross VT’s IT organization.
- Manage projects within the corporate project portfolio, which are larger in scale and tend to have impact on multiple areas of the organization.
- Plan, manage, and deliver technical projects in the context of improving processes and product capabilities for a managed healthcare plan
- Facilitate key technical decision making for the project that supports our enterprise architect.
- Clearly communicate and document project status to meet audit requirements.
- Knowledgeable in healthcare business terminology, operations, and IT is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree with six years’ experience in IT project/program management.
- Proven ability in managing project portfolios, using both internal staff and outside service providers.
- Experience with project planning, management and tracking systems required.
- Experience within the healthcare payer IT sector preferred.
- PMP certification required.
