Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and skilled Laborers, Carpenters, and Concrete Finishers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be essential in executing a variety of construction tasks, including framing, concrete work, and finishing. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects such as commercial buildings, renovations, and infrastructure developments. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and site safety protocols
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of project specifications
- Construct formwork and frameworks for concrete pouring and ensure proper rebar installation for structural integrity
- Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, leveling, sealing joints, and applying textures or coatings as required
- Execute carpentry duties such as framing, trim work, metal stud framing, stucco application, roofing support, and restoration work
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for yourself and colleagues
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction projects with a strong understanding of construction site safety regulations
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately
- Skilled in concrete forming, pouring, cutting, finishing, and related masonry techniques
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and the operation of heavy machinery or equipment such as concrete mixers or pumps
- Knowledge of various trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry (masonry work), welding, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, stucco application, caulking, roofing support or restoration projects
- Strong work ethic with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is a plus but not mandatory
