What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Producer position at Blue Coast MFS?
Seeking an experienced Event Producer to manage the audience-facing event space in a live-streamed video game tournament unfolding over the course of a week in Feb 2023. Must have experience managing production teams and the ability to work alongside multiple departments during pre-production.
The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented creative lead with a passion for live event conception and execution. Experience in gaming or esports events is a huge plus. An ability to multitask and follow-through with logistical planning in a client-friendly manner is a must.
Candidate will need to be available to see the project through from pre-pro beginning in December through the stream week in February and is expected to interface with the executive producer and internal production teams as well as provide consistent production updates to the client. Specific tasks for this project will include:
- Conceptualizing event space layout and individual activations for event.
- Creating design visualizations including overhead layouts and 3D spacial renderings.
- Overseeing the front-of-house teams including working with lighting design and LED integration to ensure a cohesive show.
- Overseeing any additional set/production designers required to bring show to life.
- Working with Supervising and talent producers to ensure positive player and spectator experience.
- Working with production department on detailed schedules throughout pre-pro and production processes.
