Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a technology-driven organization, is seeking a skilled Privacy Analyst. This role is responsible for managing consumer privacy requests, supporting privacy reviews, and helping maintain compliance with evolving state privacy regulations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on privacy operations experience, strong research capabilities, and a practical understanding of consumer privacy requirements.
Job Duties
- Process and manage consumer privacy requests, including Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs)
- Monitor automated privacy request workflows and troubleshoot processing issues
- Review privacy-related inquiries and ensure timely, compliant responses
- Support product privacy reviews throughout the development lifecycle
- Assist with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and privacy risk evaluations
- Conduct privacy research related to emerging state regulations and compliance requirements
- Support privacy and security control reviews prior to product launches
- Document findings and provide recommendations to improve privacy processes and controls
Skills Required:
- Experience in processing and managing DSARs or consumer privacy requests
- Working knowledge of consumer privacy regulations, including CCPA and other state privacy laws
- Experience researching privacy requirements and analyzing regulatory impacts
- Understanding of privacy compliance processes and operational control
- Experience supporting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
- Experience conducting supplier privacy assessments or third-party privacy reviews
- Exposure to privacy operations within legal, compliance, information security, finance, or IT organizations
- Experience implementing or supporting privacy controls and governance processes
- Familiarity with privacy management platforms such as OneTrust, TrustArc, DataGrail, MineOS, or similar tools
- Knowledge of Virginia privacy regulations and other evolving state privacy laws
- CIPP, CIPM, or related privacy certification
