Automotive Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles, adhering to a documented process, checklist, and guidelines.
- Provide technical support to the field, enhancing the Service organization's efficiency.
- Assist with assigned diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections on Electric Delivery Vehicles (EDVs).
- Transport vehicles between delivery stations.
- Document the results of pre-delivery inspections and communicate outcomes to team members and supervisors.
- Support vehicle repairs outside of a traditional service center environment.
- Perform road tests to ensure the quality of repairs.
- Manage parts operations, including ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
- Maintain up-to-date technical skills through required training and education.
- Develop professional relationships and work under the mentorship of an experienced technician.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is mandatory, accompanied by a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Prior attendance at an accredited automotive repair school is preferred.
