Financial Controller - Manufacturing

This role is ON-SITE 5 days a week in Lebanon OH

Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations across multiple business entities. This role plays a key part in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while supporting our mission to operate as a forward-thinking, collaborative, and ethical organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, inventory, and revenue recognition for multiple companies.
• Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely submission of quarterly Hyperion corporate reporting packages in alignment with deadlines.
• Review and approve monthly account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and recommending adjustments as needed.
• Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and procedures in accordance with GAAP and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
• Manage interactions with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely responses to all audit requests.
• Oversee Overtime revenue recognition and related compliance controls.
• Manage treasury, accounting, and statutory reporting for the company’s Sweden operations.
• Coordinate General Ledger management and financial reporting requirements within the company’s ERP system.
• Lead and develop the finance team—including recruiting, training, and performance management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and team performance.
• Support special projects and ad-hoc reporting needs as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 10 years of progressive accounting experience
• Proven experience managing accounting teams and overseeing multi-entity operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Manufacturing environment experience a plus
