POSITION TITLE: Facilities Security
LOCATION: Brenham, Texas
SUMMARY POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Facilities Security Position to oversee and manage all aspects of security operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and property by implementing and maintaining effective security protocols and procedures.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of security systems and risk management. In addition, you will lead a team of security personnel, coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services, and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats. Responsibilities include conducting regular security audits, managing access control systems, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Your ability to assess risks, respond to incidents, and maintain a secure environment will be critical to the success of our operations. The successful candidate will have a background in security management, law enforcement, or military service, along with proven experience managing security teams and systems. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of making quick, informed decisions under pressure.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement site-specific security policies and procedures
- Manage and supervise on-site security personnel
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services
- Monitor surveillance systems and access control points
- Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches
- Train staff on security awareness and emergency protocols
- Maintain records of incidents, inspections, and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in security management or law enforcement
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of security systems and technologies
- Ability to assess risks and respond effectively to incidents
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred
- Security certification (e.g., CPP, PSP) is a plus
