We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashing out customers and balancing registers at shift end.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering, banquet, or food service needs.
- Stay informed about drink recipes, specials, and promotions to upsell effectively and increase sales.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders while maintaining quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele positively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or catering functions.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws; certifications preferred but not required.
