Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipe fitting and pipe threading.
- Support the team in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to aid in construction tasks.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment following proper safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
- Help with welding tasks and mechanical repairs as directed by supervisors.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up necessary equipment for various projects.
- Follow building code compliance standards and safety procedures diligently during all activities.
- Support the assembly, remodeling, and general maintenance of structures or systems as needed on-site.
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or related field service work is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe installation, and pipe threading techniques.
- Familiarity with welding processes, power tool safety, and hand tool operation.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations relevant to construction tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing system maintenance and repair.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and building code regulations on all projects.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with clients or team members.
