What you’ll do
- Greet and seat guests with enthusiasm, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff using Point of Sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Provide attentive table service, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering positive guest relations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
- Restaurant or hotel experience is a plus!
- Familiarity with guest services principles and practices.
- Proficient in phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
