ABOUT THE ROLE: Blu Dot is looking for a skilled and dynamic Specialist to join the Logistics team. In this role, you will utilize transportation industry and Blu Dot best practices to support the management of a network of third-party transportation providers. The scope will include several workstream capabilities including shipment booking, shipment tracking/tracing, carrier portal management and returns execution. This role is well suited for a logistics professional seeking the opportunity to enhance logistics systems, improve processes, and contribute directly to the company's strategic direction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Act as subject matter expert of final mile carrier network for other departments within Blu Dot.
- Support the entry of order information between third party delivery carrier portals and other internal systems to maintain accurate shipment tracking/inventories.
- Audit shipment batches to ensure proper shipment mode selection and routing methods.
- Track and trace truckload, LTL and small parcel shipments to ensure they arrive to their intended destination on time and in full.
- Keep a constant pulse on final mile carrier network and ensure compliance to Blu Dot SLA requirements and Statement of Work.
- Provide phone and email support to delivery drivers and dispatchers.
- Manage movement of goods returning from third party delivery providers to Blu Dot warehouse, including transfer validation, paperwork, booking and track/trace.
- Provide feedback on performance of existing final mile carrier network and make suggestions for areas of improvement.
- Participate in regular business reviews of final mile carriers.
- Audit delivery invoices to ensure proper payments for transportation services.
- Find and implement ways to improve and streamline existing logistics team processes.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS*:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Some customer service experience preferred
- Position requires professionalism and high attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Has the ability to collaborate with various teams and remains calm under pressure
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook
- Knowledge of Blu Dot products and processes a plus

Salary : $52,000 - $58,000
