Responsibilities✅ Maintain tools & equipment: Clean, inspect, repair, and troubleshoot tools; ensure heavy equipment is fueled and serviced.✅ Own jobsite safety: Follow OSHA protocols; participate in safety meetings and JSAs.✅ Execute framing work: Walls, floors, roofs, stairs, and custom architectural features with precision.✅ Interpret drawings & perform layout: Read plans; create accurate layouts using advanced tools.✅ Ensure structural integrity & compliance: Apply load-path principles; meet codes; prep for inspections.✅ Manage materials & resources: Assist or lead take-offs, ordering, and tracking.✅ Plan work & meet schedules: Balance speed and quality; align tasks to milestones.✅ Document work: Maintain accurate records and daily reports.✅ Lead & mentor (Journeyman/Foreman): Guide apprentices; delegate tasks; coordinate with other trades. QualificationsApprentice 2: 1 years framing experience; basic tool knowledge; eager to learn.Journeyman 1: 2–4 years experience; works independently; strong layout skills.Journeyman 2 (Foreman): 5 years experience; proven leadership; deep code knowledge.Certifications: OSHA 10 (required for Journeyman/Foreman); heavy equipment cert preferred.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
