OPEN CALL FOR HOSTS AND MAITRE D - COME BY BLT PRIME ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 11 FROM 2PM to 4PM TO MEET WITH OUR MANAGERS. BLT PRIME IS LOCATED AT 1032 LEXINGTON AVENUE, NY, NY 10021 (BETWEEN 73RD and 74TH STREETS). BLT Prime is looking to hire the best talent in the city to support our high-profile restaurant! If you are a Maitre D/Host looking for a great opportunity, with an exciting company, this is the place for you!The Host/Hostess position responsibilities include; welcoming all guests with a warm sincere greeting, escorting guests to a particular table, answering phones promptly and politely, acknowledging and thanking guests as they leave, and always presenting a professional image.All hosts will also be responsible for the following:Ensuring all guests' satisfaction with their dining experience, to meet and/or exceed their needs.Assist with setting the pace of service, special needs, and general guest satisfaction.Reacting quickly to any special requests, VIP guests, and observed service bottlenecks, getting management involved as needed.Ensure smooth functioning of the desk.Welcome the guest to the restaurant with a warm sincere greeting.Monitor all waiting times and minimize guest’s waits.Escort guests to a particular table.Answer phones promptly and politely without sounding hurried.Requirements:One year minimum of previous fine dining restaurant experienceAble to multi-task while keeping an organized work environmentPositive attitude and ability to work well with peersWeekday and weekend night availabilityExperience with OpenTable preferredWhy work with us?Paid Time OffFull benefits package after 90 days with 75% paid premiums401k with employer matchShift meal, dining discounts in other BLT Restaurant locations, and a great work environment!Please submit your resume and we will be in touch!
