We are opening a small, residential 6-bed Assisted Living Facility focused on providing high-quality, compassionate care in a clean, home-like environment. Our mission is to create a safe, respectful, and supportive space for our residents while maintaining strong communication and professionalism among staff.
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced, dependable caregivers who are passionate about elder care and comfortable working in a small, hands-on residential setting. You will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and supportive environment.
This is not a large facility role—attention to detail, personal care, and genuine compassion are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare simple, healthy meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Administer basic care under facility guidelines (non-medical)
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas
- Monitor residents and report any changes in condition
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Follow care plans and facility protocols
- Communicate effectively with management and other staff
Requirements
- Must be over 21 years old
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a caregiver, CNA, HHA, or in an assisted living setting
- Must be fluent in English (spoken and written communication required)
- Comfortable with cooking meals for residents
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Ability to work in a small home-like environment (6 residents max)
- Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude
- Must pass background check (required for ALF employment in Florida)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in assisted living or memory care
- Familiarity with elderly care routines and mobility assistance
- CPR/First Aid certified
