Licensed Clinician/Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD)

Job Description Overview

Blossom Grove Therapy is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Licensed Clinician to provide individual outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults with a focus on treating anxiety disorders, including OCD. Services will be offered both in-office and via telehealth.

​The ideal candidate has experience working in an outpatient setting and is skilled in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
• Must hold a current professional license in the State of CT (PsyD, LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
• Prior experience providing individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
• Commitment to maintaining a caseload of 24 clients per week (53 minute sessions)
• Ability to work remotely 2-3 days a week
• Ability to work Saturdays 9:00 am-2:00 pm and 1-2 evenings

Other Qualification Preferences:​

• Experience/previous training in an evidence-based treatment for OCD or Anxiety
• Be organized and detail oriented
• Be a team player
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform telehealth and in-person clinical counseling services to clients of Blossom Grove Therapy as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
• Be properly licensed, maintain licensure at all times, and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Blossom Grove Therapy.
• Commitment to both ongoing personal and professional growth.
• Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to client sessions.
• Respond to clients requests for service or calls within 24 hours. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such clients.
• Communicate with a clients’ treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
• Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Blossom Grove or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week).
• Keep client files accurate and up to date.
• Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.
• Attend mandatory meetings.
• Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner in accordance with practice values and in a way that upholds and improves the reputation of Blossom Grove Therapy
