Automotive Shuttle Driver
Leader Automotive Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of AutoCanada, a publicly traded company. Leader Automotive is AutoCanada’s first footprint into the U.S. market and we currently have 9 dealerships consisting of 15 different franchises and approximately 500 employees. We have a strong presence in the Chicagoland area with 7 dealerships and 2 more located in central Illinois. We are currently searching for full and/or part time responsible and reliable Service Shuttle Drivers for the Bloomington Auto Mall. You would have the chance to work with some of the most prestigious franchises in the market...Lincoln, Mercedes Benz, Audi, Subaru & VW. Responsibilities
- Transport customers to and from their destination in a professional and safe manner.
- Assist passengers in and out of shuttle while keeping a timely shuttle route without delays.
- Monitor shuttle vehicle maintenance and fuel.
- Run errands for the dealership as directed.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
- Employ good judgment, safe driving skills, abide by all traffic regulations.
- Operate radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service according to traffic regulations.
- Maintain a record of trips including names of passengers and destination or pick-up point.
- Notify service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Excellent driving skills and clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Good interpersonal skills
- Consistent record of achieving or over-achieving goals
- Extraordinary communication skills and superior customer service skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Positive outlook with a high-energy personality
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
