DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The position reports to the Lead Custodian under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor. The position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the health and safety standards of the school including day to day care necessary to ensure the upkeep of the school. Includes but are not limited to daily sweeping, mopping, cleaning, trash removal, equipment handling, etc. as required.
Custodian are often involved in setting up tables, chairs and special equipment for a wide variety of meetings, programs, seminars, and other similar events.
The position may be required to make basic repairs to the school.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Will train. Must exhibit interpersonal skills and work as an effective team leader.
